An Overview of the Community Centre

The Community Centre is in a great location at the heart of the Community. There is ample parking and great bus routes. It is also conveniently located close to the shops to top up on supplies if required.

Rooms can be hired either on their own or in conjunction with other facilities – for example the Main Hall, Function Room 1 and Kitchen 1 are an ideal combination for a party or small wedding, Function Room 2 is ideal for classes, meeting and smaller parties and can be hired with Kitchen 2.

The Community Centre holds an alcohol licence, a TV licence and music licence so we’ve got this covered. All you need is to provide your own food, drinks, decorations (hooks are provided around the rooms for these) and audio-visual equipment.

When booking, please make sure to add all of the rooms that you require and to allow sufficient time before and after your event to set up and clean up at the end. Don’t forget your bin bags to clear up at the end as all rubbish must be taken away!

MAIN HALL

This is our largest event space includes a fully functioning Stage Area.

20 Tables suitable for seating up to 8 people and 125 chairs are available for use by the hirer.

FUNCTION ROOM 1 (F1)

This is our largest general purpose function room equipped with tables and comfy chairs.

Specifications and Dimensions:
Size: 13.5 metres by 7.5 metres.

Capacities:
60 people

The tables comfortably seat 6 people and there are 13 tables available and 60 chairs.

FUNCTION ROOM 2 (F2)

General purpose function room for up to 70 people. With a fenced in outside area and access to the field this is great for great space small child’s parties, and also great for fitness classes, Pilates, training events and so much more. Kitchen 2 is available for separate hire and has a hatch which opens into the room.

F2 1

KITCHEN 1 (K1)

The main kitchen for the Community Centre is located adjacent to F1 and has a serving hatch connecting to F1. This is also the kitchen you need to book if you want to use a kitchen with the main hall.

Use of the kettles, urns, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery, microwave, and cooker are included.

A fridge and freezer are available for use.

The dishwasher is by special arrangement only.

Hirer’s need to supply cooking equipment, washing up materials and bin bags to remove all rubbish at the end of hire.

KITCHEN 2 (K2)

The smaller kitchen located adjacent to F2. F2 has a serving hatch that opens out in to F2 and comes equipped with a stove, pans, kettle, urn, microwave, fridge/freezer, crockery and cutlery. This kitchen can be booked with F2 or F3.

Toilets are also located across the corridor.
