Information for Hirers

Thank you for booking your event at the Wootton and Dry Sandford Community Centre Ltd.

The Community Centre is managed by volunteers. We do everything we can to keep costs down, but need to ensure for future generations that our day-to-day costs are covered. Please help us by looking after this amazing facility. If you would like to make a donation to help us with the maintenance and improvement of the Centre, please do feel free!

The room(s) which have been booked will only be available for use from the start time specified on the booking to the end time specified on the booking.

The Caretaker or another representative of the Executive Committee will unlock at the start time and will lock at the end of booking time. Keys will not normally be given to Hirers.

When booking, please make sure to add all of the rooms that you require and to allow sufficient time before and after your event to set up and clean up at the end. Don’t forget your bin bags to clear up at the end as all rubbish must be taken away! And put everything back where it lives.

Bouncy Castles can only be used in the main hall. We cannot accept bookings of activities which will damage the floor in the main hall; this is a specialist “sprung floor”.

The Hirer is responsible for providing their bank details for the refund of the Damages Deposit. Where these details have not been provided within three months of the date of hire, the EXCO
reserves the right to treat this as a donation.
